Dear Members and Families of the Senior Honors Choir –

Thank you for helping us out in presenting a great “Made in York” National Anthem performance at the Atlantic League All Star Game on July 10. This email contains the info you need to get your tickets and for the singers to gather.

Your tickets will be at the will-call window at the ballpark ticket office, to the left of the front gate when you are facing it. They will be available when our front plaza festivities kick off at 4:00 that day. Ask for "York County Honors Choir" and give them your name.

The singers themselves will report at 6:45 to the 3rd base gate, which is marked on the attached map. There will be a York Revolution employee there to meet you and escort you through your performance. If you are already inside the ballpark, you can reach this location by going down the steps. Or, if you are just arriving, you can approach from the outside. Either is fine.

We have a great evening planned with many special activities, guests and performances, including the ever-popular Zooperstars during the game, and the largest fireworks show in ballpark history immediately following. The full schedule is below. Thanks again for your help!

All Star Game night full schedule:

4:00 – 6:00 - “Made in York” Family Fun Zone on the stadium front plaza, presented by Planet Fitness

5:30 – PeoplesBank Park gates open

5:45 – All-Star Home Run Derby

6:45 – Pre-game ceremonies begin. Singers meet at 3rd base gate.

7:15 (approximately) - National Anthem

7:30 – Play Ball! Game followed by spectacular fireworks presented by AAA Southern Pennsylvania

Hello Honors Choir!

We had a wonderful day in New York last week....... perfect weather, Broadway shows (thanks again to the Simpson Fund for our tickets), dinner for all of us......... and we only got home an hour late! (Sorry about that.....Thank you for your patience to all of you who had to wait for us.)

Your singing in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine was...... DIVINE, and that 6-second echo at the end of all the big chords was amazing. Special thanks to our soloists (all of whom sounded naturally great without a microphone), to Joseph for his excellent accompaniment at the piano, to Collin for bringing his drums, and to Bill Lytle, Wendy Fraser, and Stephanie Stoolmaker for being with us in NYC and for supporting us all year long!

This will be our last weekly email until August. We say "see ya later" and a huge thank you to our seniors. We wish you the very best and hope that you'll always keep in touch with us. If/when your email address changes, please be sure to go to the Alumni page on our website to update your address. You'll always be part of the Honors Choir family, and we want to be able to keep in touch with you.

For the rest of you: Don't forget to register for next year's Honors Choir by this Friday, June 21. (Well, you can actually sign up as late as August 15, but there's an additional $10 "late registration" fee after June 21, so save yourself 10 bucks and do it now.......🎶) This season has been outstanding..... let's do it again next year!

Be sure to read the Registration Information Packet (Returning Senior Choir Candidates) first. Next year's schedule is included in the packet.

We hope that all of our current juniors and sophomores will register for next year's choir. We also encourage all of our singers to invite qualified classmates (especially tenors and basses) who would enjoy the Honors Choir experience to register . Registration will continue until June 21 (then late registration for $10 more until August 15).

CONCERT RECORDING: Soundworks has recorded this concert at no cost to the Honors Choirs organization, and your support of their efforts to preserve this wonderful performance will be greatly appreciated. Their time and expertise are repaid only by your orders of CD's or downloads.
