The York County Honors Choirs organization is a special project of the Cultural Alliance of York County, a 501(c)(3) entity. As a very small non-profit, we are governed by a volunteer Advisory Board, and we look to the community for our support through donations from individuals and corporations.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Welcome to the website of the York County, Pennsylvania, Junior and Senior Honors Choirs. We are pleased to be celebrating the 11th season of the Junior Honors Choir, and the 15th anniversary season of the Senior Honors Choir.
We’re very excited to announce our Spring 2013 season, featuring our singers in new venues and familiar ones, singing new repertoire as well as old favorites. (Can you imagine a concert that doesn’t end with Greg Gilpin’s Why We Sing?)
The season will open with concerts by the Juniors on February 9 at Zion United Methodist Church, and by the Seniors on February 17 at St. John’s Chrysostom Antiochian Orthodox Church. There will be lots of concerts around York through the rest of the spring, and, before you know it, both choirs will be singing the Season Finale at Central York High School on June 2! Performance Schedules
Two very special events are planned in April – an overnight trip to Pittsburgh for the Juniors and to New York City for the Seniors. The Juniors will sing in Heinz Chapel with the Heinz Chapel Chorus, and the Seniors will perform at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. One of our annual events for the Senior Honors Choir will be to entertain the crowd at York’s Distinguished Young Women Program in May.
Our 5th annual York County Elementary Choral Festival is set for March 9, and we’re excited to have over 200 York County 5th and 6th graders registered to sing and learn at Dallastown Area Intermediate School on that day. Plan to join us for the Festival Concert at 3:00 p.m.

Our featured supporters for this season are Michael and Melanie Hady. The Hadys have been supporters of the Honors Choirs since our founding, and Michael was on the very first Advisory Board and continues to serve today. Melanie has been instrumental in helping us with purchases of t-shirts and promotional materials over the years.
