The York County Honors Choirs organization is a special project of the Cultural Alliance of York County, a 501(c)(3) entity. As a very small non-profit, we are governed by a volunteer Advisory Board, and we look to the community for our support through donations from individuals and corporations.
Welcome to the website of the York County, Pennsylvania, Junior and Senior Honors Choirs. We are pleased to be celebrating the 13th season of the Junior Honors Choir, and the 17th season of the Senior Honors Choir.
Our singers are already practicing for their auditions, and the directors have picked the music and scheduled the season’s concerts – so we are ready to go! Our official opening will be our “Season's Greetings” holiday concert, set for Saturday, December 13, at 3:00 p.m. at Central York High School. Mark your calendar now, and plan to order your tickets online beginning in November. Each choir has another dozen or so performances scheduled through the winter and spring, including special Senior Recognition and 9th Grader Recognition concerts…and before you know it, it will be time for our Season Finale Concert, May 31, 2015, at the Pullo Center on the campus of Penn State York.
Details about all of our events can be found here and on our Facebook page, and we invite you to check back often for the latest updates.
Our fall fundraising campaign will begin in late September, and we’re hoping that you’ll respond when you receive our letter. The tuition that our singers pay covers just a small portion of our costs – the rest of our support comes from generous fans like you. Thanks again to everyone who keeps us singing!
This season's featured supporters are Beth and Dave Inkrote. Beth has been the Administrative Assistant for the Honors Choirs for the past three years. She has pushed us to new levels with her interest in using technology to do our work more efficiently, and she handles the many office tasks with good spirit and extraordinary competence. Her husband Dave is available to help whenever needed, and he has served by working in the ticket booth at our major concerts over the past few years. Beth and Dave are the parents to two Honors Choirs alumni, Sam and Alicia. We thank them both sincerely for their generosity to our organization.

Honors Choirs Season Finale Concert Music CD Order Center
All 2013-14 Junior and Senior Honors Choir members should have received a letter in the mail with instructions on how to download the Season Finale Concert music from Sound Works. If you did not receive this letter, email Beth Inkrote at firstname.lastname@example.org
This just in! The Honors Choirs administrative offices have moved to the Cultural Alliance suite at the Wolf Center for Philanthropy, 14 W. Market Street. We have been a Special Project of the Cultural Alliance since our inception, and they now have space to house us – so we’re delighted about this opportunity. We say a fond farewell to our friends at the Strand who have hosted us for more than three years and we thank CEO Ken Wesler and all the staff there for their fine hospitality.
